HW98 is getting even better

Tom, I hear that bell is off hand only.  If it is, you better make that bell 12" I you expect me to hit it

         Joe isn't aloud to shoot any more flies, he already reached his NJ quota for the year. If he wants to shoot more he needs an out of state license.

Tom, I've been working on a portable  bell target with interchangeable target sizes, should have it when we get together

Well I sure wish I could offhand half as good as you!  Nailing a 1" target offhand consistently is incredible! Maybe you can give me some pointers if I can make it to the shoot in July

That rifle is outstanding....give it to Scott it's even better!!! Put someone with a passion to shoot behind the trigger and tiny little holes at 50 yards are possible!!!

Thanks Joe   In another week or so the 97K Thumbhole should be ready to hit the range.  Can't wait to set it up and try it out at 50

I will be curious which rifle will be your favorite between the Motörhead tuned tx200, hw98, and hw97k.

Sure can't have just one springer.  My next May have to be the hw98 but my wife might kill me if she sees another air rifle.

Right now my blue hw97k wears a 3-9 leupold efr and the rifle fits me best for a hunting rifle.  The trigger is heavy and not adjusted right and the gun is very twangy.  As an experiment I'm holding off putting a tune kit in it.  Will do later at some point.  But for some reason, not accuracy, possibly less hold sensitivity, it has become my favorite so far.

It's going to be a tough call I'm sure.  While I am still working through some issues on the TX, make no mistake...the TX is an incredible rifle!!!!  I will get the issues ironed out on it and then it will be pushed hard to compete with this 98 as well as my 97, which is at the Motorhead residence as we speak   Should be setting it up in a week or so
