Merit Master Lens Iris Aperture, Opinions Sought

Has anyone used the Merit Master Lens Iris aperture on your air rifle? If so, what are your thoughts and did installing a lens help? What was the cost of having a lens made? I just ordered one to install on my HW30 that has a Williams FP series peep sight installed. My intention is to have a prescription eye glass lens installed to help focus the sights and target.

I spoke with the optometrist listed, bob jones,nice guy.
what it boils down to is you can't correct bad eye sight with another lens,all that is done is your adding magnification to your far sight picture,the reflexes that new/young eyes have, can switch back and forth between the two points and still see the distance.
I can't.I believe a better option is to grind the area of the nasal portion for rifle use and the upper part for a handgun(and drywall&painting).
my next glasses will have it done on the nasal part



added,just realized I answered like you wear glasses.if you don't a 2x peep will do just what you think.wish I could take advantage of it

Thank you for the informative reply. By the way, I don't wear glasses during the day, but if I drive at night, I'll put a pair on. I've had the same 'weak' prescription for 20+ years. I just need a little bit of correction to clarify the target.
