Mac1 disco

Well the Mac 1 disco arrived on Friday night, opened the carton to inspect the rifle and found that they had shipped a 177 instead of the 22 that was ordered. I debated for awhile on what to do, weather to keep it or return it. My old disco was in 177 and I was never unhappy with it, just wanted the extra punch of the 22 this time. I had even called Tim to talk to him about it before I ordered it to make sure it was what I wanted. I decided to fill it with air and check the accuracy and let that be the deciding factor on whether or not I would keep the rifle, or return it. Well if any of you know Tim's work it's no surprise how accurate it is. I installed a cheap 4x scope I had lying around and had it zeroed in 5 shots. Then after that put hole in hole at 20 yards with that cheap 4x scope. As much as I wanted the 22 I don't think this 177 will be going back to him. Now I am convinced I may want to put a little more scope on it than I had first determined. I still want to keep it lite, and don't want to have to put a comb riser on it so I may need to find a 32mm scope with higher than 9x magnification.

Thanks, I may try them. Was also thinking about trying the pile drivers from H&N. Right now it likes the JSB or AA 10.34 gr.
