Leaky Disco?

My Discovery has been leaking for quite some time and I just haven't got to repairing it. Im not 100% sure what the problem is, but I'm guessing its just a seal. Is there anyone on GTA that I could send it to? Crosman does a great job, but i'm not sure how much they are going to charge to get it in and get it back to me as its no longe under warranty. Thanks!

They are not that hard to work on if you wanted to give it a shot (lots of info on here) but if not I'd give a shout out to Norm at http://discosrus.net/

my guess is the gauge or the fill nipple.  those are easily checked with a spray bottle and a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water with very little dishwashing liquid compared to the water.

If those are not it, as mentioned above, they are quite easy to work on.  Just be CERTAIN you have leaked all the air out, then take 2 empty shots to be SURE.

UPDATE: Air is leaking from the Breech if thats possible. If not than its coming from the gauge. Sorry, even though I've been airgunning for a few years now, still getting used to the individual parts of em.

Leaking from the breach is leaking from the valve which would indicate the poppet or possibly the o-rings on the body of the valve itself.

I JUST finished building mine, put 500psi in it and it all leaked out eventually. I plan to do as described by Geoffrey, put air back in the gun ( once I have my new pump ) and use a water & soap solution to figure it out. I also suspect the gauge or adapter extension.

Did the soapy water test, and nothing from the gauge or from the nipple. Seems like I can hear it hissing right in the breech. I tried taking it off, but I need to purchase an allen key that fits that tiny thing. MY huge set is all too big.

Careful with that one as it is very easily stripped

Very happy with a Bondhus ball driver tip style drivers I picked up off Amazon set 74632.
Although with the .050 you can't really torque it well with the little handle, you can get it really snug. On the other hand it's easy to strip that little screw with the usual 90 degree wrench. The stainless slotted replacement screws are a good bet.

Managed to get the breech and barrel off. It seems like there hsould be two Gaskets near the breech seal and I have only one. I'm most likely wrong though. I'll try switching out the gasket and if that fails then....
