Yes Benjamin is just repacked/rebranded H&N pellets most of the time.
If anyone has tried the Benjamin Discovery multi-pellet pack that includes one described as the "Pointed Expanding Pellet," you should know that this pellet is the Crosman Destroyer Pellet.I emailed Crosman about it, and got this in response:"Yep they are the DES22. Have a great rest of the week and always shoot happy. Chuck" Thanks Chuck, and thanks Crosman. The Benjamin Discovery Pointed Expanding Pellets >are< the Crosman Destroyer Pellets.

I just recently got a .22 synthetic Marauder - "Syndie" - and picked up a bunch of different pellets to try through her. Of the different pellets, one box was the Benjamin Discovery multi-pellet pack. This is a four-pellet sampler that includes one described as the "Pointed Expanding Pellet." I could find no reference to it outside of the box it came in, so I inquired through Crosman and received a quick response. The only reason I bothered to ask them about it is that this particular pellet did surprisingly well in my shoot-off of a dozen or so different pellets. None of the others in the Benjamin Discovery multi-pellet pack even came close.Anyway, I couldn't find any Benjamin Discovery Pointed Expanding Pellets, but I could find the Devastator pellets - which looked amazingly similar - so went about making the connection.I still need to see if the Devastators will perform in any of my other rifles, but at this point I know of at least one pellet that groups well through Syndie.
