Umarex Surge trigger

I bought a couple cheap refurbished guns, a Umarex surge and a Ruger Blackhawk Elite from DP Company. The Surge was making a lot of spring noise when I cocked it. The Ruger is quiet. I have never torn down a springer. I did some research and thought I could do it. I made me a spring compressor and had no problems getting it apart. Cleaned up everything and lubed everything. When I went back together with it everything went smooth. The gun cocks like a dream now except it will not engage the trigger and stay cocked. It will if I pull the trigger while cocking it and letting off  the trigger once it is fully cocked it will engage and stay cocked. I have had it apart several times but can't see what the problem is. Thinking about opening up the Ruger and taking a look to see what I did but hate to screw up both of these guns. Could it be something with the safety. The safety works,once I get it cocked by pulling the trigger and cocking it but I don't think it resetting while cocking the gun Any help, advise is greatly appreciated.

Hello & welcome to GTA. You might want to post this in the China Air Gun Gate to get a better response. I think you are on the right track to take the action out of the other gun (but don't disassemble the trigger!) and see what's different.

My mistake, I thought I was in the China section didn't realize I was in the bargain gate. Anyway I got it figured out. There was a spring out of place. Working smooth now and shooting fine.
