The Wood 1077

This looks like is going to be a nice improvement for the 1077, I will probably get one. Curious of an 88 gram adapter of some sort would fit?

I believe Mac1 has an adapter that will work. It does look nice and it's still an inexpensive rifle.

They're on backorder at Pyramid, I am contemplating getting one but I have read a few places they are very difficult to re-seal when needed. They look really nice and I could use a repeater.

 Definitely would look good in wood, but I would rather they had put the money into improving the trigger pull, it's really horrible. The accuracy isn't anything to write home about either.  I installed a Delrin Barrel Stabilizer Bushing from HPA Sports, which helped accuracy somewhat.

It looks like Airgun Depot is also offering the 1077 Wood also on preorder.  It may be possible that Crosman is reissuing them like the 2260.
