Got a new hw95 luxus and I hate it

because I need a better scope to find out just how good this thing is.   
Actually, I just need to get a mount that fits the 40mm objective scope that I have.  So far I've used the stock sights, a Williams peep, and two different cheaper scopes on it(1 4x AO and 1 3-9x fixxed objective).  I've shot some of the best one-holers in my basement range with it even with less than ideal sights so far and I can't wait to see what it'll do at hunting ranges 
Like most reports I've read, it's twangy, but cocking is smooth and lock-up produces a definitive click.  The fit/finish is very nice with the exception of a dried drip of varnish on the comb.  The comb is high enough to force a somewhat painful cheekweld with iron sights-no Diana-style droop to speak of.  Using the peep produced very nice groups but the shrouded front sight seems to not let as much light through as on my Dianas making it less fun in the basement.  With the accuracy that I've seen it'll probably have a scope on it most of the time.
I did experience the "groups got smaller as the stock screws loosened up" phenomenom.  Was slightly disappointed as it went back to having some hold sensitivity after snugging them up after an application of threadlocker.  Just a reminder that I was letting my technique slide a bit.
Can't wait for the scope mounts to get here so I can get in on that 5 groups at a thousand yards minute-of-minutiae thing that seems to have gone viral

Congratulations on the 95 Luxus.  They are a great looking air rifle, and I am sure it will be a great shooter.  I don't think you can beat the Weihrauch quality.  I have three different Weirauch models and all of them are tackdrivers.

You may have to do a lube tune and a better fitting spring guide to get rid of the twang.  With a tune or as it is, you have a fine rifle.  Looking forward to seeing some pictures.

You got a good rifle.  I to have had nothing but great luck with Weirauchs.  They have all shot great and get nothing but better the more you shoot them.  They really seem to shoot good when you get 1500 or so pellets down the tube.  My old R11 has never been tuned or opened up.  I am not even sure if I have taken the stock off.  I have compared it to tuned rifles over the years and the shot cycle is just as good or better.  For whatever reason I just shoot HW rifles the way they came.  Others I open up and tune them.  This is not to say you can't, just saying don't feel pressured to rush out and think you have to put a new spring kit in it.

I have 2 that will NEVER be sold!!
I have a 98, same action as yours, that is simply amazing!!
Lock up sounds like a safe closing!! She has well over 50,000 down the tube and she just gets better!!
If the buzz isn't that bad leave the lady alone!! Shot a couple that would've loosened teeth!

Also.....the 5 group thingy is at 1100 yards and MUST be shot while a hurricane blows and an earthquake shakes things up!! With one eye tied behind your back!

I don't mind the 1100 yds, the hurricane or earthquake thing, but can I shoot over my shoulder with a mirror instead of tying my eye behind my back?  I hate doing that!

I would have to believe that over the shoulder with a mirror would be acceptable as long as the gun isn't rested and your dominant eye is covered! 

I'm leaning towards getting a Vortek kit for the gun, but just setting it aside in case I ever get really bored or something goes horribly wrong with the gun.  Here's my plan for the gun after the scope situation is taken care of:  1)shoot.  2)shoot.  3)shoot some more.  It can rattle all it wants as long as it hits what I'm aiming at.  Besides, I have good dental coverage!

That was my plan for my HW50s and it lasted all of about 3 days before I took it apart and made a new spring guide to get rid of the twang.

BTW: I take my teeth out and lay them on the work bench while I'm shooting .

Or you can have Joe and Uncle Paulie  sit at your bench yucking it up while you concentrate on shooting groups
