Brocock Concept Super 6

I received the 6 shot version of the Concept with walnut stock. It comes with 1 silver magazine. It was ordered from http://www.specialtyshootingsportsoutdoors.com/store/ in Canada. It weighs in at 5 lbs 8 oz.
The stock is a fair bit lighter than the pictures make it appear.
The trigger from factory is very light and the bolt is also very easy to cock.














Now there is one thing that I was not very enthused about. There is a fair sized knot on both sides of the forestock. On the left side it is right in the middle of the checkering  :?

A quick email to the retailer told me that if any thing happens with the knots that they will claim warranty.

Sweet looking gun. I was looking at those, they are fairly new here.

I like the knots. They add character, IMO. Very cool gun. Awaiting report on how it shoots.

And here are the magazines. Tiny little buggers, they fit inside of a nickel. They are a little short to hold predatory polymag pellets so I think I might need to get some kind of single shot tray made up. You can see the part of the magazine that faces the shooter. The other end has a small ball bearing in it that clicks into a slot into the gun to hold it into place.

My FX does not fit the preds in the magazine either. I have found the JSB 15.9 and 18.13 gr pellet extremely accurate.

Those are great numbers.
Most Canadian springers don't get those velocities, especially the Jsb 15.9gr.
That gun is good looking and right up there pushing the 500fps button.
Glad you like it...Is it as accurate,as it sweet looking.

Well, with an unsteady rest I get some pretty good groups for myself. Im sure the gun can shoot better than I can.

Thanks for sharing the info, not too many here in the US yet. Now about that knot, (just me I am sure) but that is firewood. Never have seen any factory use such wood. Anyone here wants a walnut stock blank with a knot or 2 in it I'll sell ya one for $15.00 + shipping.
 It say's some nice things about you that you focus on the good always.

Yea, it is pretty weird. The main think I do not like is that the knot extends right into the middle of the checkering. I sent the company and email and they asked for more pictures but I have yet to receive a reply about it. Since this is (supposedly) the only one of this model in Canada right now I would really hate to hate to send it back and have them replace it, which could take months. 

The walnut is a $90 upgrade (per the stores prices) over the Beech. Another member of the Canadian forums got a walnut stock that has a large streak in the grain running down the length of the right side. He was quite dismayed at it.

I figured it was time to open it up and see how it looked. The stock is removed by one bolt. The trigger guard is plastic and screwed directly in to the stock. The empty stock balances right on the bottom of the pistol grip.

I did not want to take it apart for fear of not being able to get it back together again. Since it cant be opened up it might be a PITA to get back together.


The length of the first stage is adjustable by a small screw that stops the trigger from going forward.



The pull weight is adjustable by a screw behind the trigger. It moves a square part back and forth adjusting where it contacts the sear. The farther along the you go, the lighter the trigger gets. It came from the factory set to a little over a half pound.



In my opinion the second stage is a little long and a bit gritty (In this particular rifle). There is a fairly solid stop after the first stage and then you can pull it back about another 2-3mm and can actually stop just before letoff. Another mm and it fires.

I have had it since June 2012 and it has worked out fine. Due to life I do not have a chance to go out and shoot much lately though.
