will a 2240/1701P trigger grip work on a 2260 tube ?

will they work together ? are they easily swappable ? is there some massaging/tinkering needed to get them to work together ? is it a lot of work with special tools needed ? and how far will a 24 inch barrel extend beyond the Co2 cap ?
thinking about future tinkering and figured i'd ask .

Yes, they will work. Just bolt one on.

As for the barrel vs. tube length just look at a stock 2260 for comparison.

1701P trigger group will bolt on but you must change the hammer.  It's written up many times on here.
You will need at least a 14" barrel to clear the 2260 tube.

An 18 inch barrel works great for me, it extends 3 3/4 inches past the cap

the m-rod trigger group will also work, and is alittle nicer.

I have a trigger group for a 2240 as well as the stock for it. I'd probably be willing to trade for the 2260 group and stock if you want!
