The sight base of my 22/45 is 0.550" at it's widest point. I can't get my calipers into the dovetail of my 2400kt with the scope rings on it, but I have a new steel breech for my 1322 on it's way from Crosman. If it shows up before anyone else posts, I'll measure it and update you.
I did get it from the parts dept., but thanks for the tip. I didn't know they were cheaper that way. What do you mean "pulls" and where are you getting these pulls for $15? For that price I may buy one and try to mill it down.
Awesome! Thank you.
I put the Mark II sight on my 2240 steel breech without much trouble. I just enlarged the dovetail on the breech a little with a 3 corner file . You have to be careful not to file deeper only elongate the corners to fit. A dovetail file with a smooth bottom works better if you have or can borrow one though.
The stock sight is a bit low . I use a muzzle brake with a brass pin sight or a TKO with a small ramp attached with a screw. At first I just cut off the blade of the stock plastic sight, sanded the base smooth, and then drilled a 3/32' hole in it to glue in a 3/32' piece of brass rod. Start wit it higher than you need and file it down till it works. Hope this helps.
