Anyone else's LGV .177 like CPHP's??

I'm on day 3 of my LGV. I"ve been runing crosman premier magnums (10.5 ish grains).
Today I ran 4 different pellets through it. In order of patten tightness at 20 yards...best to worst..
1. CPHP's - literally putting pellet on pellet on pellet..flyer.. then pellet on pellet
2. H&N Baracuda Hunter Extremes - pretty good groupings..couple pellet on pellet, but not as consistently as the CPHP's
3. JSB Exacts - AoA recommended these, so I bought a tin. Not quite as tight as the H&N's
4. Crosman Magnums - farthest spread of all of them. Could still hunt with them, though.
So I'm curious if anyone else has had luck with the CPHP's?
I'm ok with that, since those are the cheapest, though they have definitely had the most variance in size, which accounts for the flyers.

Mine likes H&N FTTs 4.51 head, AA 8.4, JSBs 8.4 in that order. The CPHPs and CPLs fit tight, loose, who knows? Accurate, but inconsistent head size. Just keep trying different ones, but at this point you have less than a tin of pellets through it, not even broke in yet. Put another 500 through it, then get serious about her favorite food. Don't overlook the wadcutters, inside 25-30 yards they're sometimes more accurate than dome heads and devastating on pests. Mine shoots the RWS Supermags 9gr accurately and will knock the snot out of small pests.

I shot some yesterday as a matter of fact, and no I can't make them group well. Seem fine for hitting the spinner though. They also fit too tight.

Yeah, the Crosmans do fit very tight. The JSB 8.4's don't have that issue and group better.

Have you tried the winchester available at Walmart? I did the ship to store option and found them to be very consistent but slightly smaller in diameter than the boxed 7.9s my guns like. I can't recall the weight off hand.

No I haven't. Between my other AG's, I really don't have the time to compare. Not practical to do so in my small back yard--gotta keep it cool around this 'hood.
Plus, I also have a Field Target jones and now I'm getting ready to do some hunting with the .25. The JSB's shoot well enough for me, and I still have to got through most of the tin.

I may have to try those.
My gun is no longer favoring the CPHP's it seems. The JSB exacts and H&N baracuda hunter extremes are its known current favorites, in that order.
Though, I'm sure at shorter ranges the CPHP's are a-ok.
