Crossman Vantage GP barrel swap to another model.

I have a gp Crosman Vantage. I love this rifle except I have put 700 rounds through it and the accuracy is very erratic. One second it's dialed in at 15 and 25 yards and the next minute it's shooting shotgun patters and then eventually will zero again.I have cleaned and lubed and tightened the rifle and put a TKO which has seemed to improve the accuracy a little.My question is I have a crosman TR77 spring piston and a ruger blackhawk Elite I might put together or use for parts. Does any one know if either of these barrels will interchage or of any others that will? By the way I tried many different scope mounts and scopes so it's not that.One more thing I installed a GRT3 trigger in the Vantage and the trigger safefty engages ,but is overridden if trigger is pulled a little harder than normal.Any thoughts on this? I bore brushed it when new now I scrub it every couple of hundred pellets.I thought you were supposed to season the barrel?

Same situation with my vantage np .177 . After clean the bore with a brass brush and cleaning compound to remove lead deposit now it back to dime size group at 15 meters . Good luck , yours should be the same . Try to clean the bore again .

Some of these rifles can be very accurate if the planets are aligned perfectly, you burn incense and stack pyramids to make a sphere.  JK.  I did find that a barrel that does not actually touch the face of the compression tube when locked up but rather contacts the transverse pin that is called the detent will greatly improve accuracy.  That and add springs to the alive jam, ditch the plastic pivot washers for moly'd steel and do a general lube tune.  As far as parts swap, the Ruger may share front stock screws with the Crosman, that's about it.
