A quick question about ldc's

I need a new ldc for Big Sexy (bt65) & I'd prefer to just buy one. I can make one, but I'm just too busy these days. So here's the question.
Who makes the lightest, most effective, metal constructed LDC on the market?

Probably Neil Clauge. I had a TKO that was pretty decent. The outside was made of aluminum but the insides were plastic. It was still durable and very light weigh though.

All metal is a problem, because if it can adapt to a fire arm then it can mean trouble. Neil Clauge makes one, out of titanium. effect as to what noise, clipping POI change? or all three? Try Neil Clauge.

he uses the Hair curler design. very long.........1/2" x 20 threads,  7" long and 1 1/4" diameter  both ends unscrew for easy servicing.

If the absorbing material is good it should be close to HW in efficiency with those dimensions.

I'm looking for something to tame the bark on Big Sexy. Preferably metal body, and light. Insides made of plastic aren't a deal breaker. I'm not looking for anything that doesn't  thread true to the bore and creates POI change issues. Something is telling me I may just end up making what what I want myself.

When i had my PNEUMA .22 ( Also a Hatsan AT44 ) it also had the threaded muzzle for such attachments.
Build the first LDC with just a threaded end    while it worked, due to wiggle in the threads fit & alignment suffered greatly requiring a larger hole threw the internals 

Second one made with @ 1 1/2" of precise free bore matching barrel O.D. with the threads at the bottom.  Now the LDC was held true and aligned to the barrel using threads to just hold it in place.  Hole size threw the device was able to be smaller having the effectiveness greatly improved. 

Make what you need & want

Scott is right, if you can make what you need. I just made a 5 inch 1 1/8 that's very good. It took some design tries but works very well. All aluminum and delrin. With no clipping or poi change. There are a lot of designs out there if you search.

I own a ti n.c. ldc,works very good.I asked about insides,was told that it will only work for the application of a airgun,wouldn't elaborate.it appears that in contains a scotch brite pad.

If you're going to make one, try to take a look at and copy a Huggett. Best LDC out there
