AR2078A bulk fill issue revisited

I revisited my AR2078A 20oz bulk CO2 setup which to this point has not pressurized the gun. This story began last winter and I had posted it here then. This time I was methodical and made sure the remote line works. That is fine, no leaks, and it pressurizes and allows CO2 to pass. I then checked out the adapter with the foster fitting. I took it apart and checked the valve. Everything looked good inside. I then hooked the remote line to the adapter and opened the valve on the tank and whoosh! I could feel the CO2 coming through that just fine. Then I installed the adapter into the gun, and hooked up the tank. Opened the valve and I could tell the line was pressurizing. I had cocked the bolt before all this, as a fellow member had instructed me to before. Nada. I can cock and fire the gun over and over, but no pressure. It's like the valve is not working. It works fine with 12gr carts though. What am I missing?

Rats! I think I messed up the O ring on the adapter. I'll have to get one now. Got the adapter from Mac1.
