Can you guys tell me what these pellet grooves mean

Sure.  No problems on improvements.  1050 is great fps, but since it's in the transonic region, I would start looking at accuracy first, and pellet weight that will help.

Truthfully,  when playing nurse, cook, maid, chauffeur, animal caretaker right now. I have not even had time to zero the scope.
 Got different rings coming tomorrow to mount new Hawke on the Galation.
I can do that stuff after 10pm when my patient goes beddy bye, lol.

Speaking of your galation, how is it now, you said that it went to the "Hatsan Hospital"

I am cheating here. I had this post on my clipboard so I justed repasted it here. Sorry to one who read this on another topic.


However, my Galation sips air. 76 shots per fill. Here is something that seems weird (to me at least, being a rookie and all)
But this week, I cronied both the new refurb BT and the Galation both in .25.

First shot in first string  814 fps last shot at 39, in third string read 861. (Clips hold 13 rounds ) I filled off my blue tank that was down to 180 bar. When I counted out at 39 shots I had 120 bar left in the tank.

She is just breaking in and log book shows 1257 pellets so far. Just before I sent back to Hatsan for warranty, I posted a target in my log book with a 13 shot (.25 ) ragged hole in the 10 zone at 30 yards, .270ctc and outside .466.
So she is not a bad shooter.

It has what I image a higher end gun has. You can lift the side lever with your pinkie and slide it back with a push of the thumb. It has a very nice rubberized felling skin.  That shot gun style stock just fells right. I love it.
