Not sure what version of Windoze you are using, but did you try right-clicking on the game and choosing "Run as Administrator"? That sometimes works. Of course, you only do this with software that you trust. I haven't downloaded the game myself, but it looks legit from some stuff I've seen online - but you want to research that on anything before running as Administrator.

one requirement is that you have a nvidia or ati graphics card, intergrated ones may be a issue as they don't render direct-x well if at all.

Currently have nvidia onboard & an additional card I installed 2 months ago, so graphics wasn't the problem. Thought about running as Admin, but opted against it. It's just not worth the risk of getting something else in addition to the game.


Besides, I actually prefer my hunting a lot less simulated
