The Big Cat .22 goes on chipper patrol and take EIGHT!!!!!

 And kills chippers, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39 40, 41 and 42 


   And to top it off my beautiful wife is so fed up with them digging up everything she even shot at 2 with the P17 in .22. She missed both BUT she shot at a living thing  . gotta get her out to practice more 

   Hard to keep track of which shot was which, but some highlights.

   One chipper was taken offhand, standing at 17 yards from a bush

   One chipper was taken at 34 yards sitting on my butt on the lawn. I patiently waited for it to stand up on it's hind legs and rolled it over.

   One chipper I could only see the head in the grass. Put the CPHP in one eye and the other is bulging out of it's head 

  The rest of the shots were either side leaned against a tree or sitting on my butt between 13 and 22 yards.

   I simply LOVE LOVE LOVE my box stock except for scope and mound Big Cat .22. I really should put that CDT trigger on it that is sitting on the shelf 

   This pic is a keeper  . 8 chippers in one morning. My personal best. Gotta put the gun away or I'll get nothing done the rest of the day

Good or bad, getting that many in one day means you have approximately 120 more in the vicinity.

 I chose the Big Cat .22 for 2 reasons today. Main reason...it was raining. This gun has been drenched many times. 2nd reason was optics.

I hardly ever see more than two a day. It's a big occasion if I get one.
