Great Indoor Trap

I stopped by Lowe's after work and bought a bag of rubber "bark" (for playgrounds, gardens, etc.) It is "Re-Play Rubber Mulch Nuggets" and cost about $8.  I stuffed it (took about 1/2 the bag) into an 8x8x12 cardboard box, taped a target on the end, and I've got to say it makes a perfect indoor trap.  Thanks to Ted's Holdover for the idea.

My FX Boss .30 pellets stop about 9" in, and it's completely silent.  If you live in an apartment or duplex, this is an awesome solution for chrony and sighting work.  Now to sell my steel rimfire trap, which was really loud and left lead dust and pieces all over the place.

What is duct seal?

 Duct seal is what electricians use...you can find it at lowe's and home depot. Dont go asking for it...cuz they wont have  a clue what your talking about...actually go down the aisle yourself and see for yourself if you plan on buying some. The stuff is very sticky

It is a cheap alternative to ballistic putty!

Like Jay said, in Lowes or HD they never know what duct seal is. You can usually find it in electrical with the wire nuts and the zip ties.

Or you could keep it and stuff it with your mulch and have a trap that will stop just about anything.
