scope and moderator on a 2400KT...

I'm thinking (dreaming) of a 2400KT (custom shop) with a 14.6" Walther barrel in .177". I'd like the shoulder stock version with the standard front sight as I intend to use a scope.

Question #1: Do I need a different breech, or maybe a different model, as I see the 2300 KT has a long and a short, and both appear to have standard 11mm dovetail grooves for a scope mount. The 2400KT only seems to come with a dovetail cut that is not made for a scope but some type of rear sight, like a Williams or a standard notch?

Question #2: I'd like it quite. I've seen some FX models from Air Gun Depot that have moderators (suppressors?). Can I just buy one from TKO, screw it on my Walther barrel and be happy?

Randy, the 2400KT still has a dovetail rail. That notch you are pertaining to is a for an LPA MIM sight:

Yes, TKO sells pickles for the Crosman or Crosman-Lothar barrels and they are the slip fit type. If you want a threaded type, you need to buy this adapter:

I think The Crosman Custom Shop will end their 20% sale with free shipping today but I could be wrong though. I did order a 2400KT with a 14.6 LW .177 barrel on the 4th of July. That was the day they started their sale. I will order another LW barrel from them when they deliver my carbine. A Crosman lady told me I can only do so with 1 barrel and an extra trigger shoe once I receive the item and not while it is still undelivered.

The truth is that I already ordered some Don Cothran parts for this particular 2400KT of mine. Do not want it to look generic, lol, but it is costly and yet I have no regrets

I have a 24000KT with an LW barrel & a TKO.  The 2400KT only offers the long steel breech as it is a carbine.  The 2300 offers the long & short breech if you just want a pistol and shorter/lighter breech.
The TKO is a great suppresser.  I have a number of them and have no complaints.

Best order tonight as sales in the Custom Shop don't happen very often.

I intend to replace mine with DC parts (already ordered them) and might sell the stampless tube, barrel band, breech, etc..
