I ordered a 6 inch Apex muzzle brake from Air Rifle Headquarters for HW30. Called 1st and asked about the fit and was told it should work with no problems. Received the unit yesterday and slid it over barrel and it was a tad large. I panicked a bit and made a call and was just told to tape the barrel.
I’m thinking “what” that ain’t gonna work. Anyway I slide unit over and 6 inches down put my 1st tape around barrel and then one more above that so from 4 inches to 6 inches there is one layer of tape. I then put one layer on end of barrel, I used Gorilla tape but still while taping thinking this is silly it’s not gonna work.
Well only problem I had was sliding unit over the taped barrel as it was tight. I got it all the way down and tightened the 2 screws which were actually on tape so it would not scratch barrel.
It looks great, is tight and when I did some shooting had to adjust scope a bit as it was an inch below POI but ended up hitting where it should. Just thought I would put this on forum to see if anybody else has used this unit.

It's a Gamo universal sling, no swivels necessary. Pad info link below.
