Easiest, cheapest and quickest way to lighten a Discovery's trigger pull

I looked into the 3 screw mod, but apparently you have to do some drilling...something I'd rather not do. Any suggestions like easy drop ins? Not interested in smoothing it out or even shortening it, just want a lower pull weight.

I replaced the spring with a 3lbs one from McMaster 9657K301

I copied this it should help you some { the trigger (coil) spring with a lighter one to reduce the initial trigger pull and introduce what is effectively a first stage.... I use a 3/16" OD spring, 5/8" long, made of 0.020" wire to replace the stock spring which is 0.028" wire.... Other mods are polishing all the metal to metal contact points on the hammer, sear, and intermediate lever to at least 600 grit or finer.... If you want to reduce the 2nd stage pull weight, you can bend the sear (hairpin) spring to have a tighter angle but GO EASY.... Just 5 degrees makes a BIG difference.... 10 degrees and it will fire when you breath on it} an ACE hardware should have what you need good place to find springs

2 srew mod is pretty easy.  Back of the trigger housing already has the two molded in places for the two screws so it’s real hard not to get them in the right place.

+1 on the 2 screw mod.  Replace trigger return spring with a cut down one from a ball point pen.  Polish mating surfaces.  I shimmed my pins to reduce lateral movement... may not really make much difference. 

Three screw mod is easy too... you're just drilling plastic.

There's another mod to drill the transfer bar and move the pivot pin.  I did that and didn't care for it and when back to the factory orientation.

I suggest socket head screws for the mods.

I tried a brass trigger.  I had high expectations, based on my experience with a GRT-III trigger in a Remington Vantage.

Unfortunately, my expectations were not met.  I went back to the OEM trigger with 3 screw mod.  Actually sold the brass trigger on eBay for more than I paid for it.
