Blackhawk or AirHawk?

Defintely going to pick up a 'hawk. But, I am unsure as whether or not to get the air hawk or blackhawk elite. My local walmart has the blackhawk elite for $99. I like the wooden stock on the airhawk but if the RBE is better I will get that one. The Air Hawk is $75. Is there any difference in ACCURACY? Power doesn't really matter to me nearly as much as accuracy. Is the trigger any different on these rifles?

Awhile back on this site, one of the guys ran a comparison between them. They are the same gun with a different stock. His conclusion was the Air Hawk is the better shooter. He was so convinced he purchased an Air Hawk stock for his Black Hawk and improved its groups as well.

Never shot any of them but have have felt both an airhawk and a blackhawk. I like feel of the the airhawk's stock a lot better. I'd go with that 75$ Airhawk.

The Airhawk is a very "well worth it" air rifle indeed. For the small price compared to many others, it is very well made and doesn't seem to exhibit any bad habbits. As I wrote in the above referral link, it is no D34 (its parent by design, rifle) but it seems to be very well made and easy to use, actually slightly easier to cock and load than the D34, but then again, it is ever so slightly less powerful, if only by about 20fps or so on average in the .177 calibre that I have in either rifle. That isn't of much consequence though and can change from unit to unit in each model. I still haven't grouped mine yet, well not at at any great distance anyhow, but have put quite a few pellets through it now in the garage etc,, not because I am lost for time or anything like that but more because I have another hobby that seems to be taking a bit of my spare time lately, amateur radio (Ham radio). Conditions have come right for some distant contacts lately and I'm spending some late nights talking and listening to other Hams all over the world. Like airgunning, can be a very rewarding hobby...
Anyway,, Blackhawk or Airhawk... I don't think it'll make too much difference as to which one you decide on. Apart from the stocks, they are the same thing. If I remember correctly, I think somebody in GTA said that the front stock screws are in a slightly different place in either but apart from that, they are identical. I'm sure you'll soon see just how good they are when you get one. I wanted to buy a Blackhawk also but like many things, when I want one, they seem to have sold out, all of them, which was the case a month or so ago. Now my want has faded...
