Problem with my new B-51

UPDATE: Mike got back with me by email (on Easter Sunday too!)
I just wasn't pulling the cocking lever back hard enough. New gun, my first PCP, yada yada yada (insert you own excuse here). It works now. So I won't have this bugging me the whole time I'm in laughlin!!
Hello all, I want to preface the following by stating that I am not making a complaint. I have emailed Mike but he hasn't even had a chance to respond. And I am confident that he will let me return the rifle if that is what I want. That is not what I want. I knew when buying it that I was buying a gun that had the potential to shoot as good as guns costing a lot more. And I also expected and looked forward to working on it to get it set up to my liking. What I didn't expect was my failure at my backyard range this morning
I pumped it up yesterday to let it sit overnight a check for leaks. I mounted my new Hawke scope and set up my range this morning. Settling into my rest, acquiring the target and squeezing off my first shot! Then nothing! I checked the safety (again and again). I cycled the bolt many times checking to confirm there wasn't a safety override of some sort but still nothing. I came back upstairs, took the scope off so as not to damage it, removed the action/barrel from the stock and the removed the trigger and trigger lever to see if I could spot anything obviously amiss.
Everything appears fine and it is a fairly simple mechanism to the point I disassembled and reassembled it but I don't want to go further without specific instructions because of the danger of the charged tube and my inexperience.
I'm sure Mike will know what to do but it being Sunday, compounded by the fact that my wife and I are leaving for Laughlin day after tomorrow makes me want to do something NOW!
I know there are some of the top people as far as knowledge about these things go cruising this forum from time to time so I am in hopes that someone of you will read this and help me expedite things. Thank You for your time, in advance, Mike
P.S. I forgot to add that after the failure at my range, before I took it in the house, I pushed an 1/8 inch dowel down from the muzzle to unload it. I'm not quite an idiot

Does take a bit of "oomph" to get it cocked, but they smooth out.
