Hey all,
I need to get a NOTCHED hammer, for the 2240 carbine build.
Since it is being fitted with a factory Crosman Discovery breech and barrel...(the disco breech has the rearward location for the "pita" screw),... hence the need for the "notched" hammer.
I'd like to call CCS to order one, and want to make sure I'm ordering the correct one. (notched).
The part number for the hammer/striker I am finding, (on the Disco parts list, from the GTA Library), is 2300-050
I also need to get another "pita" screw.
The listed number is 1322B027
I am also considering putting the factory sights on it, before putting on a scope maybe later.
(my funds are pretty tight, so a scope will have to wait)
Here is the list of other numbers I'm coming up with for the front and rear sights...
Can someone please verify if these are the correct part numbers it will need ?
1761-024
MOUNT, FRONT SIGHT
1761-025
SIGHT, FRONT, WILLIAMS
88-089
SET SCREW 8-32 x 125 (4)
178B-001
SCREW, #6-40 x .145, FSH
1761-026
SIGHT, REAR, WILLIAMS
Thanks,
Ron

You've got the right number, I just ordered one. For breech screws I suggest ordering some slotted stainless steel screws from A.C custom parts on ebay.
