3D printed breech for 1322/77

Does anyone have any experience with the 3D printed breeches sold on Ebay. Or am I better off going with a steel or aluminum one. My gun will be an occasional shooter, not hundreds of pellets a day type of gun.

I have one on a 1377x14.5". It does good, it's alot easier using Picatinny rails to mount a scope level or without cant. I did have to trim some of the rear of the bolt slot to fit an extended probe bolt. I think I'd like to add a couple more, there are a couple few other 3D printed breeches.

Mine snapped at the front breech screw. Ended up just going with the steel breech and picatinny rail adapter.

I don't have experience with 3D printed breeches, not my thing. I prefer steel breeches but decided to try an aluminum one off amazon on my Drifter to save weight. I will straight up tell you guys,  it's a total p.o.s. Save your money. The hole for the barrel is oversize, I had to shim it so the bolt doesn't bind. I also had to drill it out a touch and sleeve it with brass tubing from the hobby shop as the bolt was sloppy. Never again, stay away.  Stick to steel or a quality 3D breech.

Bottom line is, stick with the Crosman plastic breech and get a 3D printed picatinny rail that slips over the barrel or Crosman steel breech..

On a whim …I got one in a pkg deal from ebay….no probe but 2 grub screws….on a 1322 zero issues….using a LPA sight…good luck

  I just got this TKO 3D printed Breech for $34.50.  It does not come with a bolt but fits my 362 barrel and custom or Crosman bolts very nicely.  Looks to be made very well and I plan to use open sights mounted in front of it with a Disco sight sleeve or a lightweight scope. He also has a picatinny rail model both listed under section 8 of his website. It's harder to find a Baker Aluminum or Crosman Steel breech right now. I haven't got the gun put together yet, but I think it will be fine and light weight.

Yeah, everyone is out of stock on steel breeches right now. Only ones I know of is an ebay seller in Hawaii, Alliance Hobby, and I think Alchemy Airwerks.

TKO picatinny breech was good other than I messed up and lifted the barrel slightly upon disassembly on my 362 when I pulled off the end cap/barrel band and heard a snap, wasn't fused together all that well the best I could tell.
Be careful with it and it works fine, best if you can find a steel breech to begin with tho IMHO..

   I wish the TKO breech had not had such an large open loading area though.  It makes for easy loading with a scope mounted but I can see it would be a problem if you lift the front of the barrel too forcefully while the rear mounting screw is in.  Hopefully Crosman will get their move to Arkansas finished and have steel ones back available soon.  The aluminum one Mzq284 posted looks like a bad copy of the excellent RJ Machine Aluminum Breech of a few years ago. Too bad he no longer makes them though.  I have one and it is the smoothest and best I have ever found.  You can see here the loading area is smaller but would be stronger on a printed breech.

The aluminum one I posted is a ripoff of the Crosman breech. It's hard to see with the paint on it. I started an aluminum breech like your RJ, that's a sweet breech. My math failed me somehow and I scrapped it.  I'll try again some day, if it comes out like I hope I'll make a few more.  I sure wish Crosman would make their breech and rear sight out of aluminum, they would be worth a higher price tag. Or, put a steel breech on it from day one.

Well I do not like plastic and especially the generally more fragile 3D printed stuff,  so I'd absolutely recommend steel or aluminum.

Of course you can't really get the Crosman steel breeches right now, but I have an aluminum breech from Baker and zero complaints.

Not a bad deal if you don't mind drilling and tapping for the rearward hidden screw hole.

Yeah, I scored David's last forward-hole Crosman steel breech on Friday.  It was delivered this afternoon.  He said he'd have more at the end of the month.

I'd rather be lucky than good.
