Hammerli 850 is home

Got the 850 back from Roald at the 850 store tonight.
First of all, let me say that the man is a pleasure to deal with, really.
I got the tune and the 9oz bottle and turns out he had to replace the barrel.
Now the gun, my sights were broken when AD sent it to me. Not only did he replace the broken  sight, he sent me an extra set.
Also included was the hanger he removed plus an extra one.
The gun was packed as carefully as when I packed it to send to him.
The trigger! It's better than I thought it would be. Just awesome . A light first stage with a definite 2nd stage let off. Better than on any of my PBs.
Oh! The bolt cycles much smoother now.
I haven't chronyed it yet and I'll need to commandeer a scope from another gun to really put it thru its paces but I am Happy so far.
I would not hesitate recommending Roald at the 850 store to anyone.
It times when it seems you don't get what you pay for and nobody gives two rats, it's nice to see some one care about what they do AND their customer.

I'm sure you'll love it.  I put four magazines through mine this evening.  I hate to say it,  but my QB79 may soon be regulated to backup duty.

got a scope on and did some tests today inside at 10 yards.. this is so much better than before.  i think the jsb 15.89 grain pellets are the clear winner . but a couple others aren't bad either.

Steve; I have 3 850 mags, they are not pellet picky, but both 177,and .22 love JSB ESPECIALY RS and fallcons, One of the .22 shoots with my AA s510 out to 30yds and better than my Marauders within 30yd . I believe they have LW barrels
