It must have some type of dampening material, and enough so that the scope will not asorb it. Im just going to stick with scopes that are air gun rated and BKL mounts

Diana has never been known for innovation with respect to the Mounts they sell. In fact I have found them to be the sellers of the worst Mounts ever for decades now. It will be interesting to see if they have actually done their homework or if this is another product developed by a non-engineer that is nicely finished rubbish.
Umarex and Diana both have a tendency toward marketing rather than quality. The brand could do itself more harm if this is typical of what they have managed to bring to market in the past. The C mount in it's 5 iterations was the most horrid adjustable to ever bend scope tubes. Let's hope someone with half a brain was involved in the products development instead of the sales department getting something they know they need but don't know enough to execute it well.

I am dubious about any product marketed by a company with a name like "World Novelty". It conjures images of cheap party favors.
The clam to "One hundred percent repetitive accuracy" may be a bit over the top as well.
In short, I'm skeptical.

Advertising is garbage, but the actual product looks promising. What they're trying to do is find a new "source" that will absorb the shock from the recoil of an air gun. So they added 2 rails and a spring. Rather than the entire scope and mount set-up having to move back, the mount can remain still, while the scope and ring set-up absorb the shock; the springs then kick the scope and ring set-up back to its original position.
I think I may invest in one of these, assuming the price is sub-$30. Anymore than that and I would be better off investing in a well-known mount.

If you want a damping mount, get a Theoben Dampa mount.
Pricey but good.

Looks to my eye, like it will kill the scope quicker.
Recoil starts everything moving, then the piston hits it's stop, then the mount springs slap the scope silly.

Give it six months, if it works everyone will be ordering one. If it turns out to be junk we will know a lot sooner.

Isn't it the forward recoil that kills though?? This mount looks like it only addresses the soft rear recoil. Maybe there are rubber bumpers or something that keep that in check.

Exactly, if you want a mount of this type buy the dampa mount.

Thought about it some more and it seems if the mount works the way I think it does, the scope would be in the middle of the sled somewhere when the forward recoil happens, so it may actually be effective as claimed. How they keep it perfectly centered shot to shot without the rails being so tightly fitted that they bind I'm curious about though. If the price is reasonable I think they'd be worth a shot on the 20+ FPE guns that tend to be scope killers.

i really cant see the claims of 100% repeatable accuracy being true.
wouldnt it HAVE to have some play to work how they are claiming?
and wouldnt that play result in less than stellar consistency?
