Looks like a great deal with those reviews.  I don't know to much about scope nomenclature, Would this be able to focus at 10 yards?  I imagine this isn't generally a requirement for a firearm at 6x.  I had been looking at the Wallmart Centerpoint deal.

It looks like one of the reviewers indicates a minimum of 10 yards, so yes. But the technical specs on midway's site say it's not airgun rated, so I'd be careful using it on a springer. And, btw, it comes with weaver rings, so you'd have to get some dovetail rings. And, it does have a lifetime warranty.

The centerpoint or a leapers or Hawke might probably be a better choice for you.

I have several of the leapers/Centerpoints various powers and strengths on my co2s and springers.  I like them well enough, but this weekend I had shot a friends Gamo 440 and it happend to have a BSA scope and I was startled as to how clear the glass seemed.  It may be worth the risk to buy it and take a loss on resell if I don't like it.  It should be safe enough on my CO2s to try it out.

In the end I'm gathering all the bits and pieces for my first PCP somewhere down the line this year.  The last thing will be the actual .177 Marauder,  getting short on the list for the shoebox compressor have a bottle now and need to order the 4500 psi line & fittings.
