Bill I hope you are right about the breach seal ruining accuracy.AB my scope is a Winchester 3x9x32 Spring Gun Rated Scope.Nothing has changed except for the breach seal.I have been bragging on accuracy till yesterday.

I don't think the heavy 46U will be a scope killer if left in spring power.  Converting mine to reverse gas ram using the Crosman gas ram gave the rifle a sharper recoil that seems worse than the spring.  Due to the dramatic increase in cocking effort it was converted back to spring.

I can see where these could eat breach seals.  A sharp loading port with a compression tube that rotates a few degrees and it depends upon the breach seal to center it when closed.

The cocking arm on my 46U is a little wobbly.  Did I see a fix for that on here somewhere or was it a vision?

Nope it was on here.  Not under that title its just in a 46u thread.  Mike even posted the answer for the fix.  Give him a call when he gets back from Shot.  He will help you.  I just shipped out my B2 to have him fix/tune it.  It should be in his hands on Wednesday. I cannot wait to shoot that gun for real when he is done.  I think its missing a breech seal I was only avg 240fps for a .22

I got my new breach seals in and replaced the one that was blown out on the side but it didnt improve accuracy at all.I guess this scope has gone south on me.At 10 yrds two or three will be in the same hole then they will move 3"- 4" and two or three in the same hole again and then it moves again another 3"- 4".

Mike recommended ice maker tube.  I am using lubed stacked washers, but the the ice maker tube works well.  With the stock removed its the pin with the c-clips holding the lever to the tube.

Cut a 1/2 x 3/4" ( I think ) section of plastic milk jug ( almost sure ) and place it between the lever and the tube.  Use the pin to punch the hole. ( real sure of that )

Sorry, i should have mentioned that the fix is for the cocking arm.  It fixed the slack in the cocking stroke.  It wont help any side to side play.

"there are two types of cocking arms, the new type has a slot cut in the pivot of the arm, the old one is one piece. The cure for a wobbly cocking arm is to cut a piece of pop bottle plastic about 1/2 inch wide and an inch long, put that in one side of the slot then push the cocking arm down into position and use the pin as a punch to drive a hole in it, then trim off excess, should firm it up ..."  Quoted from one of Mike M's posts on the subject.
