x10 22.....impressed sofar.

after my bad x20s....agd had a x10 in 22 cal with scope....so I grabbed it.
this x10 wood is great quality,nice even finish,tight latch,decent trigger.
everything my old x10 was.
after 40 rounds @12 yards I printed a few nickel groups.cant wait to break her in.
if I had to guess....im in the high 800 fps range right now,after she settles im expecting 750-800 fps with 14.3.
I wanted a rabbit gun for this winter,i needed 22 that can accurately and humainly do the job out to 60 yards.i think this gun will do just fine.

Glad to here she's working out for you.  I do think your velocity expectations may be a tad high though.  Looking forward to hearing how she breaks in.

here in south Louisiana....I always get higher fps...lol.
my trail xl1100 put out 940 fps after 1000 rds,my phantom spits 920 fps....ect.
something about this humid air on the gulf coast.

look at my post in this gate where I put cant decide between a stoeger or mike in iowa. I was told no and for that reason I put the page up there to be seen by those who said no. from what ive seen so far , stoeger has a better made gun than most Chinese guns right out of the box

ive owned a x10 177 cal for a few years....I always wanted x10 in 22 cal,but didn't think it was available.i was told id have to goto the x20 series .
so when a 22 x10 poped up on airgundepot .....no hesitation.

contact airgundepot,or browse their site....they may have some leftover.

my x5 is well built and hits where im looking not where it wants to. price is great warranty is great too. my x5 broke its main spring. called stoeger, they sent me a new spring and told me put it in n shoot more , warranty is still in effect. they even gave me a followup call 2 weeks later to ask if it was working ok. now that's service

when you get 500 or so I bet the groups shrink to dime size

im curious as I priced some x10's and got 2 different prices . I have a gun coming so the stoeger idea is dead but the gun and pawn shop across the road from basspro where I got my x5 for $89 priced me a x10 scope combo for $129, basspro had x10 unscoped for $189 ? huge price difference . im just wondering how close yours is to which dealer I can buy from . its clear who id buy from. my x5 broke. the gun and pawn just gave me another from off the shelf and told me they would deal with the warranty . I bet basspro would just say money back or you send it back at your expense

today I went out in the woods....400 rounds through her sofar.
shes pretty accurate.got a few pine cones from 40 yards off hand.
guns working flaewlessly.

the gun is at bout 415 rounds....something failed.
my brother used her for a rabbit hunt 20 degree temps.after his 3rd shot he said it smelle like model train smoke,and the gun has lots of vibration now.....and now groups 2-4 inches at 10 yards with cphps.

im guessing blown seal....ill know more when I get the gun back.

I have an x 10 and I love it.  I lost one of the trim rings on it...called stoeger...they sent me a new scope.  I will be buying another Stoeger.
