Optisan Viper vs. Clearidge Ultra XP

In the 6-24x power range, has anyone done a comparison of glass, ranging, and repeatability of adjustment clicks?
Trying to narrow down the list of possible scopes for my next purchase.

 The little research seems the Viper gets high ratings in the Air gun forums and Clearidge gets high rating in the Rimfire forums. Boils down to turrets 1/8 or 1/4 moa, total elevation/windage required, or even origin of manufacturer china versus Japan made clearidge.
