they are available for $48 from a vendor that can't be mentioned here.  For the cost, you may as well use 88 gram cartridges and an adapter, similar size/weight as the dual 12 gram adapters.

I had thought about that. I just figured most of my shooting sessions are more than 1 powerlet, but less than a paintball tank. I had also read somewhere that you can use one empty and one full powerlet for less shots if needed.

Does the QB79 use a standard paintball connection?

that will work.  go ahead and get spare orings for it, because they will fail and require replacement at the least opportune moment.

The most economical solution is a 9oz tank and a rap4 on/off valve.
