No, not purple. And nothing too neonish. At first I was thinking of bronze, but then I thought not.

I think pine or emerald green metallic or bright blue metallic. Going tomorrow and see what's on the shelf.
I figure I'd tape off a few places and leave about a third or fourth of it black.

I got this carbon fiber bow stabilizer that's about two feet long with aluminum ends. I'm going to cut it and make a shroud if it'll fit over the barrel...I think.

Now we're having fun...
It's not just all about shooting paper and cans. Heck, I could throw rocks and hit paper and cans. And just how many ways can a guy build a 1377? I think they pretty much all been covered. Don't get me wrong.. I'm not going to buy a $300 gun and clamp in a vise and take a hacksaw to it. But give me a $20 pawn shop gun? Oh yeah, I'm bustin out the dremel and rattle cans.

Yeah, the Ruger wasn't so expensive that the stock can't be spiffied up with some sparkly krylon and matte clear.
It's not quite fancy enough to call attention to itself with pink or orange. But something a little cooler should be alright.

I didn't really like the tactical look so much anyway. But that's what was on the shelf when I went shopping.
