Looking for the Schematic for the Benjamin 397 (93-97) with the brass trigger block
Picked up a used one with blown seals and cant get it torn down to get at the valve to re'ring it.
Going all out to really fix it up better then new,the stock is well worn and needs re worked
Plenty of Youtube on 392's which are of no help so far.
TIA,

Throw up some pics so we can see where you're stuck. Somebody will know what to do.

FWIW Im not a "tuner" nor versed in many aspects of such
Im big into high power powder burner and extreme range sniper type shootings(.308,.338,.50 etc)
Ammo cost forced me back into air gunning, time to start is as good as any I guess.
Mach1 offers a solid build/tune but for a $30 garage sale 397 I figured "Why Not?"

If it's the soldered valve type, you need the tool to get the back nut off, then there's a lead seal that comes out pretty easy, then it shouldn't be too hard from there...
If it isn't a soldered valve, apparently there's a screw to remove (I think the lug for the stock) that threads into the valve, if you take that out then give it a pump or two it should force the valve out the back, I remember seeing something like that from Tim at Mac1 if I remember right...

I just finished fixing one of these yesterday. The entire trigger assembly has to come off, there is a third screw holding the end cap underneath it. Mine is a soldered valve, I used a kit from PA with a special tool to get the valve nut out. You have to be very careful not to cross-thread this nut when reassembling. My biggest problem was the check valve, which was stuck tight. Had to use a dowel with a small nail in the end to poke it free from the front. Not easy. I think pouring in scalding hot water helped soften the seal and finally break it free. Take your time, good luck!
