For distances 10 yards to your zero you may want to consider using 1 yard increments.  Then switch to 2 yard for distance after zero.  Some match directors like to put itty bitty kills at odd close in yardages.  I've even considered half-yard settings for 10-15 yards.

Same here. I use 1 foot increments for 10-15 yards. If your scope is mounted high and you are taking a close range shot, it is especially important to adjust for the small changes in distance to target.

If you don't have the intermediate holdovers on your range chart  (1 foot or 1/2 yard dope), you can interpolate. But I prefer to minimize the amount of head math that I need to do while shooting.

Personally keep my ranging to the individual yard 
This especially important in those close shots where +/- .2 of a dot is the difference between getting into the hole or doing a splitter
you can see clearly the + 1 yard or - 1 yard correction and make an educated guess whats best done

Well, I refocused with my eye glasses on and made a comparison of parallax at 25 yards with and without glasses and it is the same, I did not notice anything different. So here is my scope reticle range card. I used double sided scotch tape from Walmart (in the office supplies section).

Next I will make my range card in 1 yard increments as recommended.

Basic understanding with a handle on the discipline of ranging and applying correction is really what is the heart of the matter, how you apply this with Dope cards and information they give is a personal preference absolutely
