Difference between Beenman R9 and HW95 ?

As far as I know they are the same gun.... however, I believe that the R9 comes with a muzzle brake and without sights, and has forearm checkering ... and the HW95 comes without a muzzle brake and with sights. The HW95b Luxus has a upgraded stock that also has checkering.

I choose the HW95 Luxus, removed the sights and put on a muzzle brake. I liked the stock which was like the one on the R9, and I found a better price on it without a scope, and then bought the scope I wanted. It is a GREAT gun.

Are Beeman and HW guns made by same manufacture ?

Generally Beeman is more expensive, but does include a lifetime warranty.  Weihrauch only has a one year warranty, I think.  Beyond that you're probably splitting hairs as far as the cosmetic differences go.

Beeman contracted with Weihrauch to manufacture guns.  As I understand it, for may years Weihrauch guns could not be purchased in this country as part of the original agreement.  The agreement has since expired and you can now buy Weihrauch or Beeman.

IIRC the price of the HW95 Luxus is comparable to the R9, however the HW95 with the plain, shorter stock is somewhat less. The choice usually is; if you want iron sights, get the HW of your choice, if you want to scope, get the R9, which comes with a brake. NCED documented some changes to the current R9 on this forum, all for the better. Great rifle, tk

I believe that only Beeman's High end guns are made for them by Weihrauch... There are some bottom end guns with the Beeman name on them that are made in (China???)
