Help! Loss of power on RWS 850

My RWS 850 suddenly lost power. I had  just replaced the 88g cartridge, and the pellets wouldn't even make it out of the barrel. I thought there might have been a problem with the new CO2 cartridge, so I removed it and put in yet another one. The pellets would then make it out of the barrel, but just barely. Can anyone give me a pointer as to where to look for a cause and cure. I'm thinking there must be a seal that either needs replacing or some lube or something?

Could be one of a few problems. Sticking striker, sticking or dirty valve or a piece of crud blocking the transfer hole in the piercing pin.

If you have a can of dust off, try blowing any crud from inside the reciever as best you can. Put a couple drops of lube on anything accessible and a couple drops of oil on the tip of a new co2 bottle before you install it. Then dry fire it a few times to work the lube into the valve. Hopefully, if its a sticking valve this should clear it up.

Every so often, I lube the guts of the action with LPS Aerosol Dry Lube from Wallyworld. I just shoot a couple blasts through any openings I can stick the straw through and give it a couple hours to dry.
