Gidday all,
I've been watching the forum for a while now and been using some of you folks ideas so I thought maybe I should join and put back a bit. Can't remember how I originally found the forum but most likely it would have been whilst doing a Google search for something or other. (I think it might have been when looking for info on the BT65.....not sure).
As the thread title suggests, I'm from a tiny little island that straddles the Pacific, Indian and Southern oceans called Australia (it's actually pretty big but we like to let the world think we are little, it keeps everyone guessing that way
)
I've been a hunter for as long as I can remember and been shooting competitions since 1987 and done a lot of travelling (both here and abroad) as a result of that.
I shoot basically everything I can lay my hands on when I get the opportunity but due to illness the last few years have seen me focus on airguns........a lot.......my wife reckons I'm obsessed, personally I think I've just become possessed by the airgun demons and they are welcome to stay, for now at least.
Us Aussies are a bit of a funny lot when it comes to airguns with most shooters here viewing them as "kids toys". Thankfully that is slowly changing. Our biggest problem is that in Oz airguns are viewed in the eyes of the law in exactly the same way as all other guns which means you have to be licensed before you can own one and most people figure if they are going to have to 'jump through hoops' to get licensed then they figure they may as well start with something bigger.
