Call for Tuning info on Webley Patriot - Early Turkish .22

Hi Folks,
Getting back into my gun work, I got this gun a few months back and after resighting and evaluation, never really took to it, although it is a beautiful gun to behold, and I would rather not just be looking at it, my old modded CFX .22 gives me tons of pleasure, as does my recent acquisition of the Diana 48 .25, so i really want to get the Patriot right - I am sure it has much more to give - taking note of what i have been told through, and read posted from, the dedicated patriot followers here.
I am specifically intersted in suppliers for parts such as springs/seals, and opinions of anyone who has used replacements in early turkish guns.
does anyone have or can point to any good articles on tuning this model? or good diagrams? - it dies not appear to have quatro trigger, but has a steel one that is not very precise, but feels OK to use.
some people say they are hard to work on - I have reasonable experience and quite a well equipped workshop so am not nevous of the work, but would like to be aware of any potential items to watch out for by researching prior to starting on it, as I am not in any massive hurry
the gun has not performed well in hunting trips, we have not been able to gel as a unit, i have found it sometimes forgiving to hold, and sometimes very choosy, which is why i am suspecting internal issues, with performance this low, and handling so harsh, I had really hi hopes when I purchased the gun, and I would like to experience better from it
to reiterate my earlier posting about this gun, I bought it a few months back, as being only about a year old, but found it to be an old stock gun with a much earlier production date, 2007, i find it very uncomfortable to use due to the inconsitency of the recoil and noise, chrono'd it is low on power, at 12-15 FPE (pellet dependant)- so low i thought it may have been a 12FPE english market surplus gun - the true story has never materialized - with good pellets (Air arms diablo fields) it is accurate and consitent - I have put about 650-750 pellets through it in pretty intense sessions - after a good barrel clean, breech seal check, external lube & tighten , (no matter what i do the forearm screws still loosen though!), but find it shelved because of the relative power & accuracy of the diana, which is a much more balanced and pleasurable gun (for me) to use.
any info is gratefully received
thanks to all in anticipation

Hello - I canīt help much because my .22 Patriot may not be the same -although almost brand new , it dates from the late 90īs and is a British version-all i can tell you at this point is that it is very pellet sensitive . Anything below 15 grains makes a "twang" and kicks... I have discovered that using JSB Straton (15,9 grains) and Exact Jumbo Heavy (18,3 grains) is where it performs at its best with 1" groups at 30 yards which is more than good enough for hunting.

Try the H&n FTT trophy with the larger head sizes 5.53 or larger. The bores tend to run a little big. AS for low power and harshness the piston seal is probably shot or was undersized from the factory this is very common. Ive tuned a couple of these and some of the early ones had original webley externals but the internals were made in turkey and machining and tolerances were not the best. These guns do clean up nice. Shoot me a message if you need some tuning advice on them.
