Hi all,
I've got an older Crossman 766 that needs a re-seal. The rest of the rifle is in fantastic shape - my father made me care for it like a 'regular firearm'
I know the gun isn't worth much and it would probably be less hassle just to buy a new one, but I have a LOT of good memories with it and it is a known quantity (ie: I know how to shoot it and it is VERY accurate for what it is...).
I'd prefer not to have to ship the rifle just because shipping anything firearm related these days is such a PITA in my experience. I had a AR15 upper that required some work and I ended up just driving it to Western Ohio from Pittsburgh just to avoid the hassle. This is no AR15, but if I could find a local resource that would be great.
If not, then just let me know who does good work and I'll find a way to ship it.
Thanks!!!

Does it hold air? If so, it probably only needs a pump cup. Part no. 760-140, couple bucks from Crosman. Takes about five minutes to change. One screw, one roll pin, no need to strip the rifle. If it needs more than that check with Crosman about repair centers in your area.
