Home-made gun level

I took an old scope ring/mount, machined off the scope tube mounting base, then cross-drilled a 3/8" hole into the main body opposite the dovetail locking screw.
Mounted on the gun, placed another level on the breech block, leveled the gun, then glued in a spirit level extracted from a dollar store torpedo level. I used Gorilla glue, as it's tacky enough to hold everything prior to curing, and it's got some "give" after curing. Durability TBD.
Not as pretty as a B-Square level, but hopefully a handy addition to my setup kit. Sorry for the lousy cell-phone camera pix, but you get the idea.
In picture 1, you can just see the level on the breech block to the left. The spirit level is glowing because I illuminated the area with a flashlight, but under "normal" lighting, visibility is adequate. It doesn't stick out too far, no farther than the Butler scope cap, so I could probably leave it on the AG in it's case. Snugged up against the forward scope ring, it also acts as a secondary scope-stop.
Picture 2 shows just the dove-tail mount and spirit level. If it's sitting on a table, it's not level, but on the AG, it's level to the breech block. I'm glad I fixed the level on the gun, otherwise it would be off by a few degrees.

Here's a better picture (in daylight this time) if the level in-situ. I used a red Sharpie to highlight the bubble area for quick reference. Line up the bubble with the red zone and you're good to go. The level changed slightly once I snugged up the device using an Allen wrench.
In the picture, you can also see my version of the AccuCover scope cover. Details here:
