I have an older RWS94, made by Cometa. I believe the corresponding model is the 400. Excellent shot cycle and a decent trigger, very useable open sights. It was surprising; bought as a beater, refinished the stock that had been riding in the bed of a pickup, and it shoots great. tk

I have a fenix 400 .22 and its accurate ,very nice trigger mine is bout 2.5 lbs maybe cause its tuned but i like my trigger like my rws 2 stage adjustable ,not heavy, not loud, enough power for small game under 30yds maybe more but i keep it on those ranges with springers however dont hunt in such a longtime .... ,nice finish on stock but could be better ..fiber optics iron sights ,the bluing is clear..from 1 through 10 i rate it a 7.5 ...cometa springers are very decent ags and wouldnt hesitate to purchase another ....good luck

I have a RWS 94 also, same gun as the Cometa 400, I only have the 177 still but I had both 177 and 22 cal. When I bought mine I was flipping a coin between the RWS 34 and 94, the 94 was more money and I was told was a better gun. I knew what the RWS 34 was like so when I got it I compared the two and could have returned the 94. Long story short I bought another 94 in 22 cal, had it for a few years and sold it, should have kept it. The other brand from Spain might get pimped more than Cometa but it isn't even in the same League as Cometa.
