HW 97 KT - the one with the thumbhole synthetic stock.. That's another one on the list. What a real nice looking rifle that is. Maybe the 97 or 98 too should be on everyone's list...

I have had the Diana 460 in .22 and have a TX 200 LH in walnut in .22 .  They are two very different rifles.  TX is smoother and very well balanced but heavy.  The trigger is really nice and the rifle is very accurate.   The shape of the rifle makes it very easy to shoot off handed.  Mine shoots Crosman Premier at 16 FPE.

The Diana 460 was very powerful. It started out at almost 26 FPE and settled in at 23.5 FPE! With a high power Vortek kit.   It was not as easy to shoot off handed as the stock was a bit thinner and longer.  It was very accurate, not quite as accurate as the TX200 though.  The t-05 trigger is just not as good at the TX 200 trigger. 

As a hunting rifle, the 460 is totally amazing.   As a Field Target rifle, it would be too hard to control.  The TX 200 in FT is almost perfect.  As a hunting rifle, it is not as powerful.

Funny you should mention that George!!! Just got home, 3:00 am, from a pretty big tourney!! Took third, was really tired, but had a ball and made enough to make a nice pellet order!!!

I ordered my TX in walnut, but the beech and walnut were on back order. The beech came in first so I jumped on it. Glad I did because I found a used TX200 .177 in beech and now I have a matching pair. When me and my son shoot we shoot TXs or RWSs together. He is a good shot at 10, and will be better than his teacher.

Go for the TX200s in both calibers.
