Varmint Hunting

I am just wondering what are some good varmint hunting air rifles . I am thinking .22 or .25 cal for 220 and under.
1. Ruger Air Magnum Break Barrel .22 (I have read a review saying he hunts upto coyotes)
2. Hatsan 95 Air Rifle Combo, Walnut Stock .22 or .25
3. Tech Force Contender 89 - .22 Caliber (Read people hunting coons and ground hogs with it.)
4. Umarex Octane Air Rifle Combo, Gas Piston .22
5. Gamo Varmint Hunter HP .22 Cal Air Rifle
6. Crosman Nitro Venom .22 other Crosman Rifles in .22 or .25 that are in my price range.
7. Benjamin Trail NP Nitro Piston® All Weather .22
8. Beeman RAM .22 Caliber Air Rifle Combo with RS2 Trigger
Those are the ones that I am leaning Twords I must say that I am leaning more twords the Ruger, Hatsan, Umarex, and the Tech Force as my top but I would love your input guys on what are good varmint hunting air rifles in my price range.
I need one that hits hard but is quite quiet because I can not shoot fire arms in my area. My plan is to hunt upto woodchuck size varmints but if any of these can hunt bigger varmints or animals than those I would really appreciate your advice or any other advice from you guys would be awesome.

Mmmm... you might want to see if there are any members near you, and ask to shoot some of their guns. It might give you a better idea of what you need (and more importantly, what actually feels good in your hands).

Personally, if you want an all-around gun, I always tell people to talk with Mike at http://flyingdragonairrifles.org/

It also depends on how much you want to work on a gun; If you're handy, you can spend up to your limit, and clean and tune a gun to give better performance. Mike will do that for you.

To start the "if you spend just a little more" wave, if you wait for a used Discovery and pump, you can go with woodchuck or greater if your distance to the target isn't too crazy.

If you want to stick with a springer, I suggest trying guns, and talking with Mike.

First: Welcome to our Addiction....

Second:  The Big .25's are going to get the job done better than the .177 or .22 on the larger game, but to get effective energy down range you may have to go with a PCP rifle instead of a springer, Mike at Flying Dragon is a good place to start with either one, his B50 and B51's will get the job done....

I would keep saving your dollars and raise your price point .... while you can get a rifle that will do the job, getting one and some decent optics not too likely for that price where in a short time you very may be wishing you had 

It is JMO ... but adding $100 - $150 your going to get a LOT more gun quality and budget to get a decent scope too.

It's all about expectations, too: If you expect 3/8" groups at 50 yards, you're going to have to invest. If you want a gun that can hit a can at 20 yards, you're not going to have to search too much.

Coming from a Air Gun Newbee, I think Coyote hunting with any of the Air Rifles you listed should NOT be undertaken. I would never hunt ANYTHING with any gun that could not provide a "Clean Kill".
