i like this idea. . . . . thinking. . . . .hmmmmmmm. . . so if there was a way to get rid of the tank thats on my Mrod, or atleast minimize it. then i could have a regulator mounted and carry a remote paintball tank say on a waist band or in a backpack. in theory i could lose alot of weight off my current 10lb rifle that way. im sure theres a machinist on here that wants to try it!
I'm kinda thinking on a Marauder or a Disco to tether, if you were willing to do away with the fill gauge (what do you need it for on a regulated tethered gun ?) that you could put another foster fill fitting there instead, and the hose coming from there might work out better than one running to the front end of the gun ?Bill

If you try and remove the gauge on the gun, the threads are 1/8" male NPT which means that hypothetically speaking, you can remove it and replace it with our male quick disconnect coupler since those are a 1/8" male NPT as well. However, you may run into issues because if the rivet inside of the fill valve does not have the proper amount of space to work, you may have issues.
The gauge adapter on an MRod is sealed with an O-ring to the gauge block as I understand it, and is NOT 1/8" NPT male thread.... The female end, where the gauge fits, IS 1/8" NPT....Rob is talking about the check valve in the fill nipple, it must have room to move to operate when the male Foster is installed.... Bob

What would be a good psi to run the Mrod regulated at?

( Tho internals of valve and transfer passages get modified too )
