Vintage Gamo 177 Repeater

Here is a pic of my vintage Gamo 177 Repeating Springer. I have had this since 1974. It is clip fed and capable of firing from 15-20 pellets.
Still works after all these many, many years. There was a period of time that this gun was not fired for approximately 20 years. Been getting use in recent years and works perfectly.

Sorry guys,
Didn't know you had to have 20 posts before you can drop in photos. Just joined a few days ago.

Sorry Lizzie,
I am unable to post a picture because this site will not allow posting until I have had 20 posts according to the rules. I have had the gun so long that I don't have any of the original info sheets, nor the box it came in. As far as the gun goes, there is nothing on it that has a name. Only thing is a "Made In Spain" label and a serial #. So..............I guess photos are out till I accumulate the 20 posts.

Even though I can't see the photo, it
is neat that a 40 year old gun still
shoots well.
That's the thing about the guns built in the 60's and 70's.
They were built to last, and were able to be repaired.
A lot of the new guns are made of plastics, and can't be repaired.
The attitude today is, if it breaks, then just go out and buy a new one.
Not all of them are like that, but a lot of them are.
The new guns aren't really built to pass down to
the next generation.

Since previously posting I did some heavy researching. Have found my vintage Gamo.
It is a El Gamo 68/68-XP.
There is a 5 part article about the model on Pyramydair.com. It is on their Airgun Academy Blog.
