I bought my AT-44 .22 2 years ago last May. Since then I have put over 4000 shots through it. I only shoot paper but this AG is really a Hunting Rig. I generally shoot targets out past 40 -50 yards and use the JSB Exact 18.3 pellets, which I find are the most consistent.
I get at least 30 shots per a 3000 psi fill with a 30 plus fpe range. Chrony numbers are average in the 880 fps range, which I feel is a great range for accuracy for the weight of pellets I have been using.
The price for the Hatsan AT- 44 is great and there are not but a few other AG PCP's that could come close or cost less. You really get a good bang for the buck with the AT-44.
The AT-44 is one of only a few general production PCP's that I would recommend for a new PCP air gunner and even a seasoned PCP air gunner. It is an all around great PCP for plinking and you can also show off how darn accurate it is right out of the box..
Tyler Patner, one of the GTA's Moderators has a great video on the AT-44 here:

I second all that Bawanah Gene!!!!
My AT44W-10 is my "truck" gun. It is so reliable and such a powerful tack driver, that I carry it everywhere. Just in case I get ANY chance to shoot!!!
W.C. Fields use to say: "I carry a bottle of whiskey with me for medicinal purposes in case I get bit by a snake. And I carry a snake with me in case I don't run into one." LOL
My cover of that is I take my AT44W-10 with me in case a chance to shoot comes up. And I pack a bunch of targets so I can CREATE the chance in case one doesn't show itself voluntarily.

Thanks for the review.
I have had one of these on my wish list at PA for a while. The removeable air tube feature is what interests me. The idea I can carry a spare tube instead of an air tank (i am thinking the tube should be lighter) makes me go hmmmmm.
I hear it is loud as all getout, that about right ? I imagine one could get a TKO.
Tempting over the disco due to what I think is a neater looking stock

One thing nice about the AT-44 is that they are a carbine, which equals shorter and more compact. The synthetic would be the perfect hunting brush rifle. And yes an extra tube would give you 60 good shots on a hunt. And yes they are loud but you can put a muffler on them and they will be very quiet but still just as accurate.

I am waiting to see what the composite stock marauder finally spec's in at and the price. While a little more, I think it is worth at least looking at, though I could almost get a handpump and at44 for what a new marauder runs.
checking your numbers with chairgun seems that setting sights for 35 yards covers one from 14-39 yards in the 1/2" kill zone. I'd probably not be taking a shot further than 40 yards (with an expectation of hitting), so fps/pellet weight is nice to know.
I'd likely go the least expensive of the two though would like to see what Crosman does with the composite stock version that allegidly weighs the same as the at-44 at 6.6lbs.
accuracy is good on them Gene compared to say a disco or marauder ? I'm not going to be shooting meets with it, just some paper and the occasional rabbit/squirrel.

I own a couple of Marauder's, but you can't beat the AT44 for balance, shooting and handling. And the AT 44 is a bit cheaper to own.
