Air Magnum spring in Blackhawk???

Can you/ should use the air magnum spring in a blackhawk if you convert it to .22 as opposed to standard length. Dumb question perhaps but just learning about these guns. I picked up 2 .177 rifles in unused condition for $110.00 and was thinking about either .22 cal for 1 now that I found out that the .25 barrel will not work.

Best bet is to get a rifle designed to get what you are looking for.  For most part of increased  power is the volume of the cylinder the gun was designed for. Might look into a Flying Dragon XS28 .25 caliber lubed and inspected for $229 shipped. JMO

Also, the magnum spring is inches longer than the B25s and I'm not sure that you could even put it together.
