Rear sight screw

Would anyone know the size of the rear sight screw on a Crosman 2260? When I rec'd my new 2260 a few days ago the gun came in 2 pieces. Stock was broken completely in half, then the rest of the gun just bounced around in the inside box for a few days. All that banging around the rear sight came off and the screw was missing. Hoping the barrel is not bent, there were a lot of holes in the inside box. The only wrapping of the gun was 2 small pieces of bubble wrap, 1 around the stock and 1 around the barrel in a large box inside a box. When I got the gun it was almost 4:30 so quickly called crosman and explained what I found. Crosman sent a new stock but in my haste to call I did not notice the missing sight screw. I found the sight blade bent but I think it can be straightened. If I can't find the size screw I'll just order one from Crosman after the Christmas rush. Thanks

If the gun took that kind of a beating, I'd be on the phone for a complete replacement. Period !

+100 on the complete replacement, but it would be the delivery company paying.
Handling parcels in that manner should be grounds for immediate termination.

What did Crosman say?
Oh wait. I think they are closed this week. Screw is an 8/32 X 7/8" button head.

sounds like the UPS guy backed over it with his truck. Crosman would not send you out a gun that badly damaged. Take photos of everthing and talk to the shipper. Some times they will note of damage they casue to packages but pass it on hoping that no one notices. I hope you get your 2260 up and shooting Mine is a great shooter and has been a great indoor gun this winter.
